Xu Mingyu (b.2002) is a London-based Chinese photographer and visual artist who primarily works with photography and graphic design. She is a passionate content creator leveraging her knowledge and techniques in photo and videography. Xu is a person who loves to take creative risks, who likes to play with different materials, and who uses graphic design to solve social and personal problems. To her, design and photography are a way of perceiving and responding to the world. In ideating for a project, she most enjoys researching contemporary issues and finding a conceptual treat that links shared human problems with our mundane lives. Her international experiences have shaped her understanding of the causal relationships between social problems within different cultural contexts. She brings a unique voice and an outsider perspective to London's international society of graphic designers and visual artists.
